New house wrap, ice and water shield, We rebuilt the chimney 64 courses with a step out corbel design. Chimney Rebuild

Bone Dry Masonry received a call from these homeowners in Indianapolis regarding their chimney. There was some leaking in the home that appeared to originate from around the chimney. We sent out one of our trusted team members to provide a careful examination of the chimney and found that it was, in fact, improperly constructed. When a chimney's construction suffers in quality, it can cause some pretty nasty issues for the home at large, particularly in terms of leaking like we saw with this home. The only way to properly fix the problem, and to make sure it never happens again, is to tear down the old construction and rebuild the structure the right way. After using our estimate and report in educating the homeowners on the issues the chimney was presenting and could continue to present, we worked with them to create a plan of action that best fit their needs. The first step was to demolish the existing chimney. A patch job wouldn't have sufficed, and we would never leave our customers with half-finished work. We then rebuilt the chimney using "Used J Bricks" and "OC Mortar." Our expert crews also reinstalled proper flashing that not only looked better with the home's exterior, but will play an instrumental role in keeping this home Bone Dry. Lastly, we finished up by giving the structure a "slurred aged" look per the request of the client. All in all, the new chimney looks great and was built to last these homeowners, providing them with Bone Dry peace of mind!

After demoing all of the bricks and pavers off of the porch, he re-laid them nicely, using portland cement.
